Identity of A True Saint

A Saint who does Bhakti according to the scriptures and makes his followers i.e disciplines do it, only he is a complete Guru or true Saint. Looking at the history, there were many saints like, Kabir Sahib, shri Nanak Sahib Ji, Sant Garibdas Ji Maharaj, Sant Dharam Das Ji Sahib, who made it clear by their speech that the saint who performs devotion according to the scriptures and also tells devotion and shows the path to his followers, he is a true saint.
For example, If a teacher teaches away from the syllabus, then he is the enemy of the students because he is ruining the precious life of the students.

With the roots above and the branches below, it is an eternal and extensive tree strong like a horse whose small all parts are said to be twings and leaves. One who knows that tree of world in this manner that it is completely knowledgeable.

Gita Adhyay 4 Shlok 34

Understand it. By properly prostrating before those saints who know the true knowledge and solution of the supreme God, by serving them, and by giving up deceit, asking question with simplicity they, who know the Supreme God is essence knowledgeable Mahatmas, will instruct you in that  Tattvgyan/true spiritual knowledge.

Yajurveda Adhaya 19 mantra 25

Arddh richaeH ukthanm' roopam' padaeH aapnoti nividH |

PrnvaeH shastranam' roopam'paysa somH aapyate ||

Meaning:

Attitude Ashish and is one who explains the coded words of the vedas in details,  as a result of which Supreme God is obtained. He is said to be the knower of the Vedas.

Yajurveda Adhaya 19 mantra 26

Ashvibhyam' praatH savnm' indren endrm' madhyandinm'|

Vaishvdaivm' sarasvatya trteeyam' aaptm' savnm'||

Meaning: The complete Saint about whom there is a mention in mantra 25, he tells to do Sadhana three times ( morning, midday and in the evening) in a day. Tells to do worship of Supreme board in the morning, regard of all the Gods at midday and in the evening Sandhya Aarti etc by means of sacred speech. He is a well-wisher of the entire world.

Yajurveda Adhaya 19 mantra 30

Vrten deeksham' aapnoti deekshya aapnoti dakshinam'|

Darshina shraddham' aapnoti shraddhya satyam' aapyate ||

Meaning: A complete Santali makes that person his disciple, who always maintains good conduct, who gives the assurance of not consuming the prohibited food and intoxicating substances. Complete send a sex charity from only that person who becomes his disciple, Sandhu after taking any tution from Guru Dev, then gives charity donation, the eternal god is attained i.e. one becomes completely liberated. accomplish sent will not wander about asking for alms and donations.

गरीब, सतगुरु के लक्षण कहूं मदुरै नेन विनोद।
 चार वेद षट शास्त्र, कहै अठारा बोध।।

Nanak Dev Ji Says..

सोई गुरु पूरा कहावे, दोय अखर का भेद बतावे।

एक लखावे एक छूडावे तो प्राणी निज घर को जावे।।

कबीर, गुरु गोविंद दोउ खड़े, काके लागुं पाय।

बलिहारी गुरु आपने, जिन गोविंद दियो मिलाय।।

कबीर, सात समुद्र की मसि करूं, लेखनी करू बनिराय।

धरती का कागज करूं, तो गुरु गुन लिखा न जाय।।

कबीर, गुरु बिना माला फेरते, गुरु बिन देते दान।
गुरु बिन दोनों निष्फल है, पूछो वेद पुराण।।

कबीर, गुरु बिन यज्ञ हवन जो करहिं, मिथ्या जावे कभहु नहीं फलहिं।

Who is True Saint?
